Let It Burn - Kristy Cox

Multi Golden Guitar Award-winner and Australian Billboard Chart topping artist, Kristy Cox, is set to release her 2024 album, Let It Burn.

Let It Burn, is high energy Bluegrass with Kristy's stellar vocal front and centre, surrounded by first-class harmonies the finest Bluegrass musicians from around the globe. Written by Mike Richards and Jerry Salley, the title track is a song that Kristy has had tucked away for a few years, just waiting for the right time to record it.

"Jerry pitched me this song a couple of albums ago. I loved it but I felt it was never the right time to record it. That changed with this album! The melody grabbed me, the hook hit me and I knew that this was the right album to release this track on",says Kristy.

"It also uses a lot of vocal range, and it was a challenge to sing it in the studio. I love it when I get to push my boundaries as a vocalist and do something left of centre in the genre".
